This policy defines the terms governing enrollment, payments, refunds, waivers, and related administrative decisions for all courses offered by HTEC (Health Technology Education Care). Enrollment in any course constitutes unconditional acceptance of this policy.
1. Scope & Nature of Services
1.1 Digital Service Framework
a. HTEC provides digitally delivered educational services, including but not limited to:
- Live online interactive classes
- Recorded video lectures (released progressively or on-demand)
- PDF notes, handouts, and learning materials
- Mock tests, class tests, model tests, and answer sheets
b. All services are intangible, non-physical, and electronically delivered.
1.2 Consumption of Digital Services
- a. Once access to any digital content is granted, the service is considered used and consumed.
- b. Digital services cannot be returned, revoked, or reused.
- c. This nature of service forms the basis of HTEC's strict refund limitations.
2. Enrollment & Payment Terms
2.1 Enrollment Confirmation
a. Enrollment is confirmed only after successful receipt of:
- Full course fee (one-time payment), or
- Approved installment payment (where applicable)
b. HTEC reserves the right to deny admission or cancel enrollment at any time for non-compliance with payment terms.
2.2 Binding Financial Agreement
- a. Payment of course fees creates a binding financial and contractual obligation.
- b. Enrollment confirms the student's agreement to:
- Course structure
- Delivery method
- Refund and waiver rules
3. Installment Payment Policy (Strict & Detailed)
3.1 Nature & Purpose of Installments
- a. Installments are offered solely as a financial convenience.
- b. Choosing installments does not reduce the total course fee or obligations.
3.2 Absolute No-Refund Rule
- a. All installment-based enrollments are strictly non-refundable, without exception.
- b. This applies regardless of:
- Course progress (before or after 50%)
- Attendance or non-attendance
- Access or non-access to materials
- Personal, medical, academic, financial, or technical reasons
3.3 Default or Delay in Installments
a. Failure to pay installments may result in:
- Immediate suspension of access
- Permanent termination of enrollment
b. Any amount already paid shall be forfeited and non-refundable.
3.4 Relationship with Other Sections
a. Installment-based enrollments are not eligible for:
- Waiver-based refunds
- 50% refund consideration
- Any exception under Section 4 or elsewhere
4. Refund Determination Based on Course Progress & Waiver
4.1 Course Completion Threshold
- a. If 50% or more of the course duration is completed, no refund shall be applicable under any circumstances.
- b. Course completion is determined by HTEC based on:
- Number of classes conducted
- Release of recorded lectures
- Distribution of notes and tests
- c. HTEC's determination shall be final and binding.
4.2 Refund Possibility Before 50%
a. If less than 50% of the course is completed, HTEC may, at its sole discretion:
- Grant a partial refund of 50% of the paid course fee
b. Such refund is possible only if HTEC approves a waiver for that enrollment.
4.3 Discretion & Authority
a. Refund under this section:
- Is not automatic
- Is not demandable
- Is not a student right
b. The student's request does not create entitlement.
5. Waiver / Discount Policy
5.1 Nature of Waivers
a. Waivers, concessions, or discounts are:
- Voluntary
- Case-specific or Granted purely at HTEC's discretion
6. Non-Refundable Situations
6.1 Academic Utilization
No refund shall be issued if:
- Any recorded class is accessed (even partially)
- Any PDF, test, or answer sheet is accessed or shared
- Any live class is attended
6.2 Voluntary Discontinuation
Withdrawal, irregular attendance, or dissatisfaction does not qualify for refund.
6.3 Personal or External Reasons
Refunds are not allowed for:
- Personal issues
- Financial hardship
- Medical reasons
- Technical or internet problems
7. Technical & Connectivity Disclaimer
7.1 Student Responsibility
Students are responsible for:
- Stable internet connection
- Suitable devices
- Software compatibility
7.2 Limitation of Liability
- HTEC bears no liability for disruptions caused by student-side technical issues.
- Such issues do not create refund or compensation rights.
8. Refund Method, Deductions & Timeline
8.1 Mode of Refund
Approved refunds shall be processed through the original payment method only.
8.2 Deductions
bKash / Nagad service charges shall be deducted as per provider policy.
8.3 Processing Time
- a. Refund processing time: 7–10 working days.
- b. Delays caused by banks or gateways are outside HTEC's control.
9. Communication, Records & Authority
9.1 Official Communication
All refund-related matters must be communicated to:

Only written or recorded communications shall be considered valid.
10. Final Authority & Policy Modification
10.1 Interpretation Authority
HTEC retains sole authority to interpret this policy.
10.2 Modification Rights
- i. HTEC may amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
- ii. Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
Confirmation Statement
I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the Refund & Return Policy of HTEC – Health Technology Education Care. I acknowledge that installment-based payments are strictly non-refundable and that no refund is applicable after 50% course completion. I further understand that any 50% refund before that is entirely discretionary and subject to HTEC's waiver approval.
